Dumler,
formerly Rent-A-Center's vice president and assistant general
counsel, was named Senior VP of Government Affairs in July, 2008
and is responsible for the company's government affairs and
public relations teams.
The vote, a formality according to
sources, will take place this morning at a meeting of the APRO
board of directors.

Ron DeMoss was promoted to executive vice president and
general counsel for Rent-A-Center in January, 2008 (see
story).
DeMoss joined Rent-A-Center following the company's
acquisition of RentWay (see
story) where he served as general counsel for
11 years. DeMoss joined the
rent-to-own industry in 1990 as a staff attorney for Thorn
Americas. He was promoted to director of government affairs for
Thorn in
1994.
