Aaron's officials are expecting a huge turnout, due in part to
the distribution of 1,500 specially-tagged Lucky Dog stuffed
toys through the Mansfield, Texas community. Each toy comes with
a specially-numbered tag which could net the owner one of 50
prizes, including a 73" Mitsubishi DLP television, autographed
sports memorabilia and computers.
R. Charles Loudermilk, Aaron's Founder, Chairman and CEO will
make a special appearance at the 1500th Ribbon Cutting at 1:00pm
on Saturday. October 13. Mansfield dignitaries including Mayor
Bart Scott will be on hand to mark the occasion and Aaron's is
presenting three separate $1,500 donations to the Mansfield
Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association, Mansfield Fire
Department, and Mansfield Legacy High School in honor of the
milestone.
Special appearances will include Pro Angler Janet Parker, ASCS
Driver Justin Melton, and the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders. The
Dallas Desperado Dancers will perform, along with the Mansfield
Legacy Marching Band, Mansfield Hometown Idol Scott Hoying, and
local favorite The Josh Grider Band. Mansfield Police and
Mansfield Fire officials will be on-site to hand out crime and
fire prevention materials and there will games and other
activities for kids.
