ColorTyme, Inc. has hired
Mary Ann ("M.A.") Hancook to head up its corporate
communications and public relations initiatives for the
ColorTyme and RimTyme brands, the company said today. Ms.
Hancook comes to ColorTyme with more than 20 years of experience
in corporate and marketing communications, public relations and
stakeholder/customer relations for national and international
retailing, technology and non-profit organizations.

and RimTyme story to the franchise community, rent-to-own
industry, and our franchisees' customers in the communities we
serve," said ColorTyme President and CEO Bob Bloom. "M.A. will
be helping us develop and disseminate information about the
unique ColorTyme and RimTyme propositions."
Ms. Hancook comes to ColorTyme from corporate communications and
PR posts at Half Price Books and Intervoice, Inc., where she
served as director of communications and public relations. She
has also headed PR, communications and customer/provider
relations initiatives for global brands such as Siperian,
Sterling Commerce, Komen for the Cure and Zale Corporation.

Ms. Hancook's immediate tasks at ColorTyme will include
developing strategic and tactical communications and public
relations plans for ColorTyme and RimTyme, and for the company's
new and existing franchisees. She will also work to enhance
ColorTyme's identity in the rent-to-own industry and the
company's position as a leader in rent-to-own franchising.
ColorTyme is America's oldest franchisor of rent-to-own
stores in the $7 Billion rent-to-own (RTO) marketplace.
The company's franchisees operate 210 rent-to-own/rental-purchase
stores in 34 states. RimTyme, the company's custom wheels and
tires subsidiary, operates an additional 14 stores in seven
