Las Vegas Design Center at World Market Center Las Vegas named Randy Wells Vice President. In this newly created position, Wells will focus on management of the Las Vegas Design Center.

Las Vegas Design Center is a year-round, professional design and hospitality resource comprising 70 open daily showrooms that feature fine furniture, fabric, lighting, floral, accessories, rugs and wall décor.

Wells has dynamic, broad-based experience in business development and a proven record in business growth, strategic planning, market research, distribution channel development, product design and development.

Most recently, Wells served as president of Valtekz Composite Fabrics, a newly formed decorative fabrics division of Valley Forge Fabrics. He established distribution for the new line through some of the country's most prestigious multi-line showroom in the country's major design centers. Prior to that, he was a manager in the upholstery division of Century Furniture where he oversaw product development, pricing and sales.

The work Wells did for Valtekz included working closely with many of the major design centers across the country. This gave Wells a unique opportunity to understand not only the design community but how each operated and their points of differentiation. He said he sees tremendous expansion opportunities for Las Vegas Design Center.

Wells reports directly to Robert Maricich, President and CEO of World Market Center Las Vegas.

Wells and his family are relocating to Las Vegas from Charlotte, N.C.

William Grenewald, formerly General Manager of Las Vegas Design Center, has been named Vice President, Leasing, Las Vegas Design Center & Hospitality. Grenewald oversees leasing and business development for Las Vegas Design Center and the new hospitality initiative. Gerry Seibel, Paul Watson and Mary Thompson complete the Las Vegas Design Center's leasing team.
