It is
important for us to get together before the NRC Legislative
Conference in April to make sure everyone understands what the
NRC represents and how important participation in the
legislative process really is. Dennis Willich, CEO, Nationwide Southwest
On Saturday March 7, the
Nationwide Rental Coalition (NRC), a trade group supporting
rent-to-own industry legislative initiatives at the state and
federal level, will be hosting a special meeting and dinner
cruise at the Hilton Riverside in New Orleans. The meeting will
be hosted by RentDirect Nationwide and Nationwide Southwest, a
division and associate group of Nationwide Marketing Group. The
NRC supports passage of
Consumer Rental Purchase Agreement Act.
The day will begin with state association meetings in the
morning and a general session in the afternoon. The session will
be led by Rent-to-Own national leaders who will present on
timely legislative and industry updates.

In the evening, a dinner cruise has been scheduled aboard the
historic Natchez Riverboat along the Mississippi. Rent-to-Own
dealers, vendors, industry leaders, press, and state
representatives will be in attendance to enjoy a night of
networking, dinner and the sounds of jazz.
“We hope everyone comes prepared to have lots of fun together in
New Orleans" said Willich.
The NRC meeting is being held one day before the kickoff for
PrimeTime! by Nationwide, a member exclusive bi-annual buying
show and conference at the New Orleans Convention Center.
“The timing and location of the NRC meeting couldn't be better
especially since most RentDirect members are already planning to
attend PrimeTime!" said James MacAlpine, Executive Director of
RentDirect Nationwide.
