Robert Perry, Executive Vice President, Panasonic Consumer Electronics

Robert Perry has been promoted to Executive Vice President of Panasonic Consumer Electronics Company, with responsibility for the company's sales, marketing and product merchandising.

Perry resigned from LG in 2006. He joined Panasonic in January, 2008 (see story).

Perry will report directly to Shiro Kitajima, President of Panasonic Consumer Electronics Company. Until now, Perry served as the company's Senior Vice President responsible for VIERA Plasma and LCD product merchandising.

"Since joining Panasonic last year, Bob has done an outstanding job in revitalizing our VIERA product line, merchandising and stepping up our strategic approach to the market," said Shiro Kitajima, President of Panasonic Consumer Electronics Company. "I expect that, with his expanded role within Panasonic, Bob will now be able to contribute his leadership to achieving further growth and development in all of our digital products categories."
