 Reiner joins
LG Electronics from Sara Lee Corporation.
LG Electronics has appointment Peter
Reiner senior vice president, marketing and strategy, LG Electronics
North America.
Reiner will be responsible for the coordination of LG's
brand
positioning and marketing activities in the United States,
Canada, and Mexico
for consumer
electronics, digital
appliances and mobile phones. He will report to LG Electronics
North America
President and CEO Michael Ahn.
"Peter's
leadership and
expertise will be crucial as we expand our innovative product
portfolio in the
United States," said Ahn.
Reiner joins LG Electronics from Sara Lee Corporation, where he
was marketing vice president for the Sara Lee Brand.
Previously, Reiner held key product and
brand marketing
positions at Kraft Foods, Nabisco, Miller Brewing and Playtex
Products.
Reiner received his master of business administration from
Cornell
University, in Ithaca, N.Y., and his bachelor's of arts degree
from Emerson
College, in Boston.
