The 2009 Georgia Rental Dealers
Association meeting will be held October 7th 2009 9:00 AM to
11:45 AM at the
Marriot Airport Renaissance Hotel in Atlanta Georgia. The
meeting will precede the TRIB Group's Meeting of the Minds, also
held on the 7th and 8th.
Matt Baker, vice president of GRDA, said all Georgia
rent-to-own dealers are welcome to attend. "We want to welcome
everyone regardless of current GRDA membership." Baker said that
all GRDA attendees have also been invited to the Meeting of the
Minds conference at 1:00. Lunch will be provided to all guests.
Baker said guest speakers will include Charles Loudermilk,
Chairman; or Robin Loudermilk, CEO; of Aaron's (NYSE:AAN). Other
speakers will include Bill Keese, executive director of the
Association of Progressive Rental Organizations, and Sam Choate,
rent-to-own industry lobbyist.
Baker opened his first RTO store in Covington, GA in 2007 (see
story).
