The United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) applauded Rent-A-Center (NASDAQ:RCII), the nation's leading rent-to-own company, for encouraging all their customers to participate in the 2010 Census.

Rent-A-Center and the 2010 Census partnered to publicize the importance of participating in the Census. Each Rent-A-Center store received clear, colorful flyers highlighting the importance of the Census questionnaire and the ease and security of participation. The cards are bilingual, with English on one side and Spanish on the other, and were offered to customers at the conclusion of their transaction.

Census numbers drive so much in our country, from funding for roads and schools to determining our representation in Congress.
