Tim
Hogan, current Vice President of Operations for
ColorTyme, has
been named Vice President of Operations for RimTyme, the
company's custom-wheel-and-tire brand, the company said today.
Hogan will remain a member of ColorTyme's Executive Committee.
"RimTyme is experiencing
dramatic growth and has generated immense interest among both
current and potential franchisees," said ColorTyme President and
CEO Bob Bloom. "For that reason we want Tim to devote his full
attention to RimTyme so we can capitalize on these
opportunities. Currently, RimTyme operates 13 franchised stores
and two company-owned stores in seven states with plans to open
eight more by year's end.
Bloom also said the company
will begin an immediate search for an operations vice president
for the ColorTyme business unit. "We've grown to the point where
we need a vice president for each of our business units, and
with Tim's unique experience and the success he's achieved for
RimTyme so far, he's the logical choice to head all RimTyme
operations," Bloom said. Bloom will fill the post of ColorTyme
VP of Operations until a replacement for Hogan is hired.
Hogan, who joined ColorTyme in
2006 as Vice President of Operations, has extensive experience
and a lengthy track record in RTO new business development,
store launches and promotions, training, operational integration
and supply chain management, and is well-known in the industry
for his progressive and professional profit-generating
strategies. Prior to ColorTyme Hogan was a divisional vice
president for Rentway and spent nearly a decade developing the
rent-to-own concept in Europe for Bright House.
"I have a great passion for the
custom-wheel-and-tire segment of the RTO business, and we've put
an aggressive growth plan in place for RimTyme," Hogan said. "For starters, we'll
be opening an additional 17 company-owned RimTyme stores over
the next 12 months."
