The theme and objective of the week is to prepare all field troops for the fourth quarter battle.

The easyhome National Conference was kicked off this week at Deerhurst Resort in northern Ontario. The site of last year’s G8 welcomed over 350 easyhome and easyfinancial Services store managers, regional managers and supporting vendor partners. easyhome is Canada's largest rent-to-own company.

The theme and objective of the week is to prepare all field troops for the fourth quarter battle. The military theme was kicked off when guests arrived at the resort and were ordered to exit the bus by Sergeant T-White and multiple military personnel while the bomb sniffing dog circled the bus and went through the luggage. easyhome and easyfinancial soldiers were given their marching orders and now clearly understand the expectations for the training to unfold in the coming hours.

The “force easyhome” National Conference began off with a high energy Military Style briefing of easyhome’s battle plan for continued success into the 4th qtr and 2012.

General Dave Maries – Senior Vice President of Marketing & Merchandise, Charley Hamill – Senior Vice President of easyhome Operations, and Jason Mullins – Senior Vice President of easyfinancial used a combination of entertaining video production, military attire, flash bombs, gun fire sound effects, and snipers to engage the audience. Chief Commander David Ingram – President & CEO was greeted with a standing ovation and recognizing a 10 year anniversary of easyhome turn around success, put the current state of the business into perspective and shared his vision for future easyhome opportunity.

Following the main assembly, General Charley Hamill and General Jason Mullin’s broke out into separate sessions to deliver explicit battle plans and tactics to deliver 4th quarter growth plans for easyhome and easyfinancial.

The balance of the day was focused on fun team building exercises where each platoon (Region) was sent to battle at the Deerhurst Resort high rope training and paintball battle fields. Strategy, communication, speed, execution, pain tolerance and addressing any fear of heights were addressed.

The evening was celebrated with a feast on the beach of Peninsula Lake with a fireworks display and music.
